With the addition of more flights to seven cities in the southern
region of Brazil, TAM offers visiting international travellers more
options with frequent connectivity.
The additional flights to Curitiba, Londrina, Foz do Iguacu,
Joinville, Navegantes / Itajaí, Florianópolis and Porto Alegre have been
added to the just under 800 daily flights by the leading Brazilian
airline, connecting 42 destinations throughout Brazil.
Starting in December, TAM will add a fifth daily direct flight between Porto Alegre and Rio de Janeiro / Galeão.
The schedule will allow more options for international connections to
and from Europe or America. Another new route for southern Brazil is
the exclusive, non-stop flight between Joinville and Sao Paulo /
Guarulhos announced earlier this year.
From Monday to Saturday, the route mainly serves the corporate
segment of the industrial region of Joinville, the second largest city
for metal fabrication in Brazil, and offers better options to connect
domestically and internationally.
TAM has also decided to increase the frequency from two to three
daily direct flights between Porto Alegre and Brasilia and one more on
the route between Florianopolis and Rio de Janeiro / Galeão, thus
reaching the six flights per week.
Passengers also have exclusive options like direct flights between
Curitiba and Salvador and a flight that connects Foz do Iguaçu and São
Paulo / Congonhas, both offered every day of the week.
